Revamping Cannabis Packaging:
Introducing 'Daily Wellness' for Clearer, Effect-Based Guidance

An established cannabis business faced a challenge with their packaging for a new product line, “Daily Wellness,” which focuses on the effects of their solventless cannabis gummies. Previously, their packaging was basic, only indicating the milligrams of cannabis and whether the product was sativa or indica. This minimal information left consumers without clear guidance on the specific effects of the products, necessitating inquiries within dispensaries to understand the benefits and usage.

To align with their new direction, the company needed updated packaging that communicated the intended effects of their products. The “Daily Wellness” line aims to simplify the consumer experience with two initial SKUs: “Easy Night” and “Easy Day.” “Easy Night” features CBN, promoting a relaxed state ideal for nighttime use, while “Easy Day,” a daytime gummy, is designed to uplift with the natural supplement Guarana. Our design team created packaging that visually represents the time of day for optimal use while retaining the original design structure. The new packaging clearly communicates the expected effects, ensuring that patients can easily understand the product’s benefits without needing to ask dispensary staff, enhancing both convenience and brand trust.
